Obituary for Holly A Kaiser

Holly A. Kaiser

February 8, 1944 - May 24, 2018

Wife, mother, older sister, and woman of God, Holly A. Kaiser was surrounded by family in Knoxville, Tennessee when she went to be with her Savior on May 24.

Holly was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where she enjoyed boating, camping, and church with her parents and brothers. She was a graduate of Mt. Notre Dame High School and St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. Holly was a blessing to thousands of people she selflessly cared for in Cincinnati, Ohio and North Richland Hills, Texas during her nearly four decades as a hospital nurse. Holly delighted in family time and she pursued every opportunity to be near her children and grandchild, leading to volunteer work at St. John the Apostle Church and School Library, the PTA, the Boy Scouts, Glenview Baptist Church, and the North Richland Hills YMCA.

Holly was happiest when worshiping Christ, serving a special meal to family, or tending to her flower gardens. She relished in the search for the ideal gift for anyone she loved. Holly will be remembered for her bright smile and a very contagious laugh. A devoted wife and loving mother, she and Nelson celebrated over 50 years of marriage.

A woman of tremendous discipline and Christian faith, Holly couldn't bear to miss daily mass at St. John the Apostle Parish in North Richland Hills despite long hours as a nurse. Since her retirement to Knoxville, she has been a devout member of All Saints Catholic Church where she formed many cherished friendships, including many with her fellow parishioners in daily mass. Her devotion to Christ will continue to serve as a light and a witness to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Holly is survived by her loving husband, Nelson; children, Kimberly Johnson (Joseph) and Paul Kaiser; grandson, Grant Johnson; brothers, Kevin Kinzbach and Jeff Kinzbach (Michelle); along with nieces and nephews. Holly is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Kinzbach and Ruth Hudepohl Kinzbach, and her brother, Jerome Kinzbach of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel.

A Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Pontian Kiyimba celebrant. Graveside services will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
