Obituary for Sandra Kay TerHark

Sandra Kay Olsen Goacher TerHark, age 78, passed away on April 30, 2018, in Knoxville surrounded by her family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1939, to Harvey and Dorothy Olsen. She attended All Saints Lutheran Church until 1982 and Lutheran Ministry in Christ presently. Her involvement included Christian education for the Synod, confirmation retreat, bible study teacher, and women’s group. She also sang in the choir and rang for the bell choir. She also served in many capacities on the board of The Friends of the Library including as President.
Sandra graduated Fort Lauderdale High School in 1957. She has resided in Coral Springs, Florida since 1974 and retired from North Springs Improvement District this year.
Sandra is survived by her daughters, Dee Goacher-Litrakis and Kathryn Haley; grandchildren, Phillip, Zachary, Megan, Emily, Benjamin, and Jennifer; brother, Harvey Olsen; niece, Melissa Burns; nephew, Devon Olsen; and many lifelong friends.
She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend. From everyone that knew her, she will be missed and never forgotten.
Family will receive friends from 3-5pm on Saturday at Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel, 11915 Kingston Pike in Farragut. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial to the American Cancer Society,
