Obituary for Phyllis A. Ide

Phyllis A Ide, age 82, of Knoxville, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio went to be with her Lord and the Blessed Mother on Sunday evening, January 27, 2019.

Phyllis was a member of St John Neumann Catholic Church and the Ladies of Charity as well as, most recently, All Saints Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 19 years; Erwin H. (Erv) Ide; parents, Howard E. LeFaive and Sarah E. (Cochran); and brother Theodore H. LeFaive (Charlotte). She is survived by her sisters, Yvonne M. (Dale) Decker of Jackson, MI, Doris J. (Roger) White of Mt. Sterling, OH, Carol Lee Marquardt of Los Angeles, CA, and brothers Robert E (Charlene) of Visalia, CA and Wilfred J (Jane) of Lake Port, CA. Children, Lawrence R Stubli III of Hudson MI, Sarah A. Berry of Payson, AZ, Jean M Burton of Conneaut, OH, James H. Stubli (Lorraine) of Morraine, OH. David (Colette) Ide of Lakewood, OH, and James (Carol) Ide of Springfield, VA. Grandchildren Lawrence R and Sean Stubli, Brandon Berry, James A, John B, Joseph T and Jason M Burton, Brandon, Travis, Jared, Brittany, Melanie and Samantha Stubli, Laura and Eric Ide, and John Ide as well as many nieces and nephews and her very large and loving Catholic Family from SJN and All Saints. Phyllis was instrumental in promoting Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, helping it to start at St. John Neumann and served as the first Midnight Division Leader from it's beginning in January, 2002 and for almost 10 years after. She continued to keep filling in as well. She helped start the St. John Neumann Prayer Chain in 1999, expanding its member and participation. For over 30 years she touched so many lives with the Ministry of the Pilgrim Version of Our Lady of Fatima created by Monsignor Mankle. She started and lead the rosary for the Unborn after noon mass ever Wednesday, cared for the sick and those in need and will always be remembered for her overall outstanding generosity and compassion to all and anyone who had needs.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel followed by a rosary which will be held at 6 p.m.

A Mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with Father John Dowling and Father Joe Reed celebrants.

Inurnment will be in the St John Neumann Columbarium.
