Late in the evening on Thursday, July 26, 2018 Patricia Page, peacefully passed into the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ.
Our dear Mom was born in Drexel Hill, PA on August 20,1930. Eighteen years later, at a Holy Episcopal Church of the Mediator dance, she met her sweetheart and the love of her life Billy Joe Page. Together 64 years, they raised four children who were her pride and joy.
Mom was the picture of what Jesus meant when he said, “love your neighbor as yourself”. She joyfully gave her life to loving and serving her family and others without condition or expectation of something in return. She gave her love generously and it was tender, steadfast and trustworthy.
Now she is gone from us but alive in glory. We miss her but our mourning is turned to joy as we think of her rejoicing in the presence of Jesus, healed and at peace.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Manil and James Monihan and brother James from Pennsylvania, her husband Dr. Billy Joe Page, and her daughter Patti Ann Page Bucci. Left to cherish memories are her sons Billy Joe Page II and wife Carla from Lakespur, CO; Ricky Jay Page and wife Kathy from Birmingham MI; daughter Peggy Page Gooch and husband Michael from Knoxville, TN along with eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two sisters Helen Swan and Nancy Schneider from Pennsylvania and many other family members and friends.
We give thanks for all the daily aid and personal attention mom received from the caregiving family at Little Creek and Avalon Hospice care nurses and Chaplains.
Family and Friends will gather for a graveside service at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 2200 East Gov John Sevier Highway, Friday, August 3 at 9:30 in the morning, Pastor Stephen Gooch officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Association
