Dallas Shreve, age 87, of Knoxville, formerly of Kingston, passed away early Monday morning, September 24, 2018 having lived a happy and blessed life. He proudly served as a Sergeant in the US Army. Dallas leaves behind his children, son, David Shreve and daughter, Kelly Thode; daughter-in-law, Tracey Shreve and son-in-law, Jeff Thode; grandchildren, Masen Shreve, Matthew Jones (Kaitlyn) and Gracie Warren (Dustin); step-grandchildren, Madison, MacKenzie and Bailey Thode; great-grandchildren, Emmitt and Colt Warren; sister, Oleda Allen. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evelyn; parents, Harold and Grace Shreve; and brother, Vern Shreve. Dallas had the most joyful smile and laugh. All he ever wanted was a kind word and smile from those he met. He made our lives richer with his presence. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Farragut Presbyterian Church. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. on Friday at Kingston Memorial Gardens for Graveside Services.
