Sarah M. Holmes, age 34, of Powell, passed away Sunday evening February 11, 2018, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She is preceded in death by her son, Jackson Mark Holmes and father, Mark McPherson. Sarah is survived by her husband, Justin Holmes; son, Gunner Holmes; mother and step father, Luanne and Leland Duckworth; mother-in-law, Boe Holmes; father-in-law, Mike Holmes; sisters, Christine and husband, John Shenouda, and Elizabeth McPherson; brother, Andrew McPherson; sister-in-law, Kelli and husband Ian Tometich; brother-in-law, Andy Holmes; grandparents, Dorothy Forester, Paul Forester and Carolyn Sandifer; several nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends. A service to Celebrate Sarah’s life will be 1pm Thursday at Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel, with a receiving of friends to follow. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Lenoir City.
