Obituary for Mary Lou Light Hayes

Mary Lou Light Hayes, age 83, of Knoxville passed away suddenly on Friday morning, September 8, 2017. Mary Lou was a member of Grigsby Chapel United Methodist Church. She was retired from Walgreens. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Samuel Light and Ruth Scott Light; sister, Estella Light Ogle; brothers-in-law, Jesse Ogle and William Ogle. Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Clifford Hayes; children, Leslie (Terry) Hayes, James Hayes, Korita (Mark) Davis all of Knoxville; granddaughter, Ashley (Eric) Hill; great grandson, Wyatt Hill; sisters, Virginia Hayes, Rossie Ogle, Pansy Hayes; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Monday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with funeral services to follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ken Luton officiating. Interment will follow in Grigsby Chapel Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or to the Kidney Foundation of East Tennessee, kidney.org Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. 11915 Kingston Pike is serving the Hayes family. www.clickfh.com
