Obituary for Charles Lee Fuller

Charles Lee Fuller,101 years old, went home to our Heavenly Father November 9, 2017.

He was married to Imogene “Jean” Chaney Fuller and the father of five daughters, Charles worked with the TVA as a welder constructing dams around the Southeast. He served in the National Guard and US Army during World War II. In the 1950’s Charles and Jean began operating restaurants first in Elizabethton, TN then two in Knoxville, TN and finally in Fort Myers, FL.

After his wife,Jean, died in 1992, Charles returned to Tennessee where he lived out his long and blessed life. Charles is also preceded in death by two of his beloved daughters: Terri Lee Riddle in 2015 and Nancye Elizabeth Hines in 2016.

He is survived by three daughters: Jane Arp and her husband Henry, Judy Zernov and Gail Burris and her husband Skeet, as well as Dr. Leonard Hines, son in law and loving caregiver for the final years of Charles’ life; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.

A Celebration of Charles‘ life will be held on Sunday, November 26th, at 1:30 pm at the Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church Chapel. Full military honors will be conferred by the East Tennessee Veteran's Honor Guard.
