Obituary for Brenda Sue Martin

Brenda S. Martin, age 69, of Knoxville left this world to walk with Jesus surrounded by her family on Tuesday afternoon, July 24, 2018.

Brenda was a member of Freedom House Church and was a prayer warrior. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; father, Jim Emert; and her brother, Bud Proctor.

She is survived by her mother, Jean Emert; daughter, Karen Householder; son, Aaron Martin; sisters, Charolette, Kathy, Debra and Cindy; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 p.m. on Friday at the Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jim Milligan and Rev. David Tharp officiating.

Family and friends will gather at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the East Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery for graveside services with Pastor Jim Milligan officiating.

In lieu of flowers a gofund me account has been established.
